Joe Richer Junior Golf Club Summer 2008
The Joe Richer Junior Golf Club is underway for 2008 with weekly clinics for the Players in Training Club group and weekly clinics and a weekly golf event for The Player Club group. The Clinics and Events rotate weekly between Walter Hall GC and Legion Memorial GC.With a membership of only $30 the junior golfer will get weekly clinics with Professional Instruction, a USGA Ghin Handicap and a golf event each week for those that show the ability to play for those that qualify for the Players Club with a discounted greens fee.
The Joe Richer Junior Golf Club provides an affordable opportunity to learn and play golf for junior golfers of all income levels and ability. One of the larger youth golf programs in Washington State, the program is named in honor of Joe Richer, who bypassed a possible career on the pro golf tour in favor of a lifetime of teaching, counseling and coaching Everett area youth. A foundation set up in his name helps provide funding for the club and aids with financial assistance for individual junior golfers if funding is not available to participate.

Tee Time Phone Numbers and Website Tee Times
It is easy to make tee times at Legion Memorial and Walter Hall Golf Courses. Tee times can be made over the phone at 425-259-GOLF for Legion Memorial and at 425-353-GOLF for Walter Hall or you may also make advance tee times day or night on the web at Everettgolf.com. If you have not used the website to make or change tee times, give it a try. It’s quick, easy and you can do it whenever you want!
Note: With the longer days in the summer, please be careful to double check if you have chosen an AM or PM tee time. Example, if you are making a 6:00 tee time, make sure you don’t accidentally select a 6:00 PM time when you wanted a 6:00 AM time! |
